We aim to be a pillar in the community by offering basketball camps and community workshops that help guide the next generation both on and off the court through our youth basketball program.
Free basketball camps will be hosted throughout the summer at no cost, focusing on skill development, fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence building. Our youth basketball program includes organized league play for ages 5–18, featuring age-specific divisions to promote competitive balance and growth. In addition, we will offer community workshops in partnership with local organizations to teach core values such as leadership, discipline, respect, education, financial literacy, and essential life skills. The Chattahoochee Bears players and staff will actively serve as mentors and 'Big Brothers,' providing guidance, support, and positive role models for participating youth.
The Chattahoochee Bears will operate a structured youth basketball program from May through August, offering basketball camps for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 in the Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL communities. This program is designed to combine athletics, mentorship, and life development through community workshops, creating a lasting impact.
The Chattahoochee Bears Semi-Pro Basketball organization is dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the court by promoting discipline, teamwork, leadership, and community engagement. Our mission is to provide a structured, positive environment through our youth basketball program, where players can compete at a high level while participating in community workshops and serving as role models.
